    Sämtliche sechs Studioalben "Rufus Wainwright", "Poses", "Want One", "Want Two", "Release The Stars" und "All Days Are Nights: Songs For Lulu" erscheinen in der Box mit einer weiteren CD aus exklusivem, unveröffentlichtem Bonusmaterial. Dazu gibt es die beiden Live-Alben "Rufus Does Judy At Carnegie Hall" und "Milwaukee At Last". Vier weitere CDs enthalten Raritäten und unveröffentlichte Songs, Soundtrack-Beiträge (wie den Song "Hallelujah" aus "Shrek"), frühe Demos (mit denen Rufus seinen ersten Plattenvertrag bekam) und Kollaborationen mit Schwester Martha, Mutter Kate und Tante Anna McGarrigle wie auch mit den Pet Shop Boys, Leonard Cohen und Teddy Thompson.

    Auf den 6 DVDs sind Wainwrights "Live at Fillmore"-Show und die "Rufus does Judy at the London Palladium"-Aufführung zu sehen, neben der Aufzeichnung von "Milwaukee at Last!!!", anderen Performances, einem gefilmten Album-Kommentar von "Release The Stars" und zwei Feature-Dokus: "All I Want" und "Prima Donna: The Making Of An Opera" über seine gleichnamige Oper, die Wainwright 2010 im Londoner Sadler´s Wells-Theater aufführte.

    Eingepackt sind die 19 Discs in einem mit rotem Samt bespannten, 30-mal-25-Zentimeter großen, 90-seitigen Hardcoverbuch. Neben raren Fotos enthält dies diverse frühe, von Rufus handgemalte Tourposter, vier Kunstdrucke, Abbildungen der handgeschrieben Songtexte, umrahmt von ausführlichen Linernotes und Interviews mit Neil Tennant, Martha Wainwright, Linda Thompson und Lenny Waronker. I-Tüpfelchen sind ein handgemalter Rufus-Comic, Konzerttickets und andere Memorabilien.

    Ein Boxset so wunderbar, pathetisch, so divenhaft wie der genial-durchgeknallte Singer-Songwriter selbst. Selbst wenn man schon alle Studio und Live-Alben des Sängers und Pianisten hat, so rechtfertigt das exklusive unveröffentlichte Material die Anschaffung.
